Product Owner SAP SD (m/f/d)

SpotLIGHT of the job

We are looking for a Product Owner SAP SD (m/f/d) to drive the development and continuous optimization of our SAP Sales & Distribution processes. In this role, you will connect business needs with technical solutions, shape our SAP SD roadmap, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and IT to ensure efficient and scalable order-to-cash processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the SAP SD product backlog based on business value, user needs, and strategic priorities
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, IT, and external partners to optimize end-to-end order-to-cash processes
• Support SAP SD configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, and rollout activities
• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with SAP best practices
• Monitor process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization
• Contribute to the successful delivery of SAP SD projects and initiatives across the organization

• Experience with SAP SD and a strong understanding of Sales & Distribution and order-to-cash processes
• Experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, SAP Consultant, or comparable role
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements
• Experience with backlog management, requirements management, and prioritization
• Strong understanding of cross-functional processes and interfaces between Sales, Logistics, Finance, and IT
• Experience working with different business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Very good English and local language skills; additional languages will be considered as an advantage
