Chief Financial Officer

Beyond Vision

Remoto
Beyond Vision is a fast-growing technology company developing hardware solutions for defence, public sector and industrial customers. We are scaling quickly, with strong revenue growth expected over the coming year and international subsidiaries already in place. To support this next stage, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead Beyond Vision's finance function and play a central role in preparing the company for its next funding round. You will strengthen Board and investor reporting, raise the standard of financial governance and transparency, and act as a trusted financial partner to the Board and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising: lead the preparation, execution and closing of the next funding round, and drive the post-closing financial actions.
  • Board & investor relations: own monthly Board reporting, budget vs. actual analysis and KPIs that meet the expectations of venture capital and institutional investors.
  • Defence & public procurement finance: manage the financial side of B2G contracts, including bank guarantees, advance payments, long payment terms, export control and public tender compliance.
  • Treasury & working capital: manage cash and working capital in a hardware business with supplier advances and extended customer payment cycles.
  • Multi-entity management: oversee consolidation, taxation and transfer pricing across our international subsidiaries.
  • Funding & innovation: maximise R&D incentives (including SIFIDE), EU-funded projects and other non-dilutive financing.
  • Building the finance function: design financial processes and internal controls, and develop a high-performing finance team as the company scales.

What We Are Looking For

  • An established track record as a senior finance leader (CFO, Finance Director or similar) in a scale-up, high-growth or investor-backed environment.
  • Proven experience closing funding rounds of €50M+, or involvement in M&A transactions or IPOs.
  • Strong experience with Board reporting and investor relations with VC and institutional investors.
  • Familiarity with defence and/or public procurement (B2G) financial requirements.
  • Experience managing working capital and treasury in hardware or manufacturing businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation, international taxation and transfer pricing.
  • Knowledge of R&D incentives, SIFIDE, EU-funded projects and non-dilutive funding.
  • Experience building finance processes, internal controls and teams.
  • Fluent English is mandatory. Portuguese is a plus but not required.

What We Offer

  • A strategic leadership role with direct impact on the company's growth and next funding round.
  • Annual performance bonus linked to company and individual objectives.
  • Family health insurance.
  • Company car.
  • The opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international and mission-driven environment.
