Here at Hubexo, you’ll put your experience to work across the accounting cycle, and get ready to take ownership of complete processes, developing towards a Senior Accounting & Tax Specialist role.
You’ll join our Lisbon finance team, supporting Simplifae’s Iberian businesses within the Hubexo Group.
What you’ll do
Prepare and review journals, reconcile accounts and investigate differences.
Prepare financial statements and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
Prepare tax information and draft returns, including VAT and corporate income tax.
Work with finance colleagues, international teams and auditors, and help improve processes and the way we use our systems.
Reporting to our Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury, you’ll build greater independence in tax compliance and deepen your IFRS knowledge. We’ll support you on your journey towards senior accounting and tax work.
What you’ll bring
Practical accounting or audit experience, typically gained over two to four years, including journals, reconciliations and IFRS reporting.
Working knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards (SNC), experience drafting tax returns and an understanding of VAT and corporate income tax.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or an equivalent qualification.
Advanced Excel, experience with an accounting or ERP system, and English you can use confidently with international colleagues.
