Job Description: Modernization and phase-out of legacy SAS processes, preparing their move to Databricks and Fabric. Close partnership with business teams to capture processes and business rules, reverse engineering of SAS code and data sources, documentation of the knowledge gathered, and support to the build, testing and validation of migrated solutions, including output comparison between platforms.
Must-Have
- Mid-level profile with 4 to 6 years of professional experience
- Solid SAS background, maintaining existing processes and understanding code written by other teams
- Requirements elicitation and direct dialogue with business stakeholders
- SQL for data manipulation and transformation
- Process, business rule and data flow documentation
- Foundational knowledge of Databricks for data processing and transformation
- Good level of English
- Communication skills, autonomy and team spirit
- Python and/or PySpark
- Previous involvement in data platform migration or modernization initiatives
- Cross-system data checks and reconciliation
- Design of data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Hands-on Databricks work
