- As a Data Consulting Manager, you will play a pivotal role bridging strategic direction and operational execution
- You will lead the design and integration of data-centric solutions within consulting engagements
- Your mission is to translate complex business problems into actionable data opportunities by developing a deep understanding of business line processes
- You will be responsible for delivering high-impact consulting projects, managing consulting teams, and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
- Structure and lead complex data consulting missions from initial scoping to operational delivery, breaking down high-level business challenges into actionable workstreams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all deliverables meet "top-tier" methodological standards and quality requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global Business Heads, COOs, and other senior sponsors, translating complex business needs into precise data specifications and using data-driven storytelling to support executive decision-making, while effectively navigating organizational ambiguity to align CDOs, IT, Risk, and Compliance at a global level
- Manage, coach, and drive the professional growth of data consultants within projects (locally or internationally), ensuring high performance through rigorous quality control, providing continuous constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
- Play a leadership role in CIB’s agentic strategy by orchestrating the large-scale creation of data products and semantic layers, ensuring all consulting initiatives are strategically aligned with the "AI Flagship" and that proposed solutions are technically viable and integrated within the broader IT architecture
- Lead the foundational growth of the global Data Consulting team by driving recruitment, defining internal consulting methodologies, and developing reusable frameworks that standardize the approach to delivering high-value data solutions across the organization
- Masters degree in Business Management, Information Technology and Computer Science or similar
- At least 7 years of experience with Project Management and Consulting and Data Analytics
- Expert in Data and Business Analytics
- Advanced level of MS Office tools
- Advanced level of English
- Ability to manage a project
- Ability to deliver and results driven mindset
- CIB Data Consulting is a new team to be built. It will be an internal data-driven consulting team, delivering strategic projects for CIB under the sponsorship of Business Heads or COOs
- The team will work in close partnership with the CIB Data Office Projects team, the Analytics Consulting team, the CIB Consulting & Transformation team, IT Architecture, and Business Data Domain Managers to design and integrate data-centric solutions as part of its consulting missions
- The team's primary mission is to translate business problems into data opportunities, gain a deep understanding of each business line's processes, and subsequently design relevant data solutions
- In particular, the team will be heavily involved in the BNP Paribas CIB agentic program, working on the data powering 'AI Big Bets' and cross-functional data topics
