Accounts Payable - Dutch Speaker

• Looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their new team.

Client Details

Our client is a large organization in the Automotive industry, with a global presence. The group is now preparing for the implementation of a new Regional Shared Service Centre.

Description

• Invoice Processing: Receiving, verifying, and recording supplier invoices and credit notes in the accounting system;
• Payment Management: Preparing and executing payments to suppliers, ensuring adherence to deadlines and internal procedures;
• Supplier Account Reconciliation: Identification and follow up of discrepancies between invoices and payments;
• Disputes Management: Identifying and following up with operations invoices subjects to disputes;
• Compliance and Audit: Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations and preparing necessary documents for audits;
• Continuous Improvement: Participating in projects to improve processes and systems for managing supplier accounts;
• Governance with internal clients: supporting the AP Tower Lead in the governance bodies with the internal clients (entities based in Europe), preparing and following-up on KPIs reports, performance reports;
• Transition support: Active contribution in process migrations from Europe countries to the SSC Porto (trainings, understanding local processes, process documentation).

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Accounting (AP preferably);
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Proficiency in Dutch;
• Ability to travel around Europe Region for the first 2 to 3 months (migration period from local entities towards the SSC in Porto);
• Experience of SSC migration is a plus;
• Experience working in an SSC environment is a plus;
• Proficiency in any other European languages is a plus (French, German, Polish, Spanish, Catalunya, Irish, etc).
