Expert Cloud Automation Developer

We are looking for an Expert Cloud Automation Developer to join our team (Hybrid – Lisbon).

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and reusable cloud automation solutions using Microsoft Azure;

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, supporting the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure resources;

• Develop reusable cloud services, automation workflows, APIs, and self-service solutions that simplify cloud consumption for application teams;

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and frontend applications using modern software engineering practices;

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, validation, and deployment of infrastructure and applications;

• Integrate Azure with enterprise platforms and services such as GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services, and other APIs;

• Implement security and governance capabilities, including identity and access management, policy enforcement, secrets management, and auditability;

• Develop automated functional, regression, and deployment tests for applications, APIs, infrastructure modules, and cloud services;

• Build solutions with monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and operational readiness in mind;

• Define technical solutions and development standards that promote reusability, maintainability, scalability, and reliability;

• Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual effort and operational complexity through automation;

• Collaborate with Cloud, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Application teams in a global and Agile environment;

• Provide technical expertise and contribute to the continuous evolution of enterprise cloud automation capabilities.

• 10+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in international and enterprise environments (mandatory);

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public-cloud architecture (mandatory);

• Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (mandatory);

• Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably GitHub Actions or equivalent (mandatory);

• Expert experience in full-stack software development, including backend services, REST APIs, and frontend applications (mandatory);

• Strong experience with Java/Spring and JavaScript/TypeScript;

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue;

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity, access management, and governance;

• Experience integrating Azure with GitHub, ServiceNow, identity platforms, and other enterprise services;

• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or equivalent technologies;

• Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices;

• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and production operations;

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, particularly AKS (nice to have);

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, with a focus on clean code, testing, scalability, maintainability, and reliability;

• Ability to work autonomously and act as a technical reference for complex cloud automation initiatives;

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills;

• Experience working in international and Agile environments;

• Fluent English, minimum B2 level (mandatory).
