We’re looking for a Waiter (M/F) to join the Santa Joana team and help shape one of the most exciting restaurant in the city.
This isn’t a role where you just carry plates. It’s a role where you set the tone for every table, bring the menu to life, and make guests feel like they’ve found somewhere special. What Will You Be Doing?
As Waiter (M/F), you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, working closely with the kitchen, bar and management team to deliver service that people talk about.
- Welcoming guests warmly and looking after every table from arrival to goodbye
- Guiding guests through the menu and drinks with confidence, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm
- Taking orders accurately and keeping communication with the kitchen and bar sharp
- Keeping the floor organised, polished and ready for service
- Following food safety, allergen and hygiene standards on every shift
- Spotting the small moments that turn a good meal into a memorable one
- Experience as a waiter, server or in front of house is a plus, but attitude matters most
- A natural warmth with guests and the energy to thrive in a busy restaurant
- Strong teamwork and clear communication
- Good English & Portuguese (other languages are a real bonus)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Right to work in Portugal
