Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical UEM Engineer / Ivanti MDM Administrator to join our nearshore team based in Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, deploying, and maintaining unified endpoint management solutions across our organization's corporate mobile fleet (iOS and Android). You will work collaboratively with global IT infrastructure teams to ensure seamless device provisioning, security compliance, and optimal endpoint performance while supporting our distributed workforce.
- Administer and maintain the Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (formerly MobileIron Core/Cloud) console on a daily basis
- Manage device enrollment and full lifecycle via vendor portals: Apple Business Manager (DEP/VPP), Android Enterprise (Zero-Touch), and Samsung Knox
- Create, test, and deploy security compliance rules, configuration profiles (Wi-Fi, VPN, Certificates), and user groups
- Handle the packaging, deployment, and continuous updates for public and internal line-of-business (LOB) mobile applications
- Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for complex mobile-related incidents, performing advanced log analysis (Ivanti Sentry gateways and mobile OS)
- Provide high-touch "White Glove" support for executive/VIP users requiring rapid technical assistance
- Maintain infrastructure integrations across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, SAML, and SSO authentication flows
- Monitor iOS and Android ecosystem updates to ensure Day-Zero readiness and compliance
- Document technical processes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for L1 support teams
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows for corporate mobile endpoints
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience administering MDM/UEM solutions, with strong focus on Ivanti / MobileIron (deep experience in Intune, Workspace ONE, or Jamf will also be considered)
- 3 to 5 years of overall IT experience within Infrastructure or Digital Workplace environments
- Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS/iPadOS and Android Enterprise) and enrollment architectures (BYOD, COPE, COBO)
- Hands-on proficiency with deployment portals (Apple Business Manager, Android Zero-Touch, Samsung Knox)
- Solid understanding of core network and identity services (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, SSO, PKI/Certificates)
- Familiarity with secure gateways (Ivanti Sentry/Access) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ITIL processes)
- Excellent analytical, root-cause investigation, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong user empathy, communication skills, and fluency in English
