Role Overview
The OutSystems Lead Developer provides technical leadership across development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, engineering consistency and adoption of best practices within the OutSystems CoE.
About You
You are a senior engineer with proven experience leading teams, coaching developers and delivering complex applications. You are comfortable balancing hands-on development with technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development teams delivering OutSystems applications
- Define and enforce development standards and coding practices
- Coordinate technical delivery across internal teams and partners
- Lead code reviews and engineering governance activities
- Support platform roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive adoption of DevOps, testing and CI/CD practices
- Mentor developers and support O11 to ODC transition programmes
- Collaborate with architecture, integration and platform teams
- Strong hands-on OutSystems experience
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
- Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns
- Azure and cloud platform exposure
- Agile delivery and DevOps experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- OutSystems Professional Certification
- Experience operating within a CoE model
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries
