What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer (Level 3) to strengthen project delivery and production support activities within a complex IT environment. This role is focused on the implementation of technical architecture solutions, coordination of technical stakeholders, and support of business-critical applications across production environments.
You will contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives, including Cloud adoption, DevOps practices, automation, infrastructure modernization, and production resilience, while ensuring smooth transitions into application production support and maintaining strong alignment between business and IT requirements.
What You Will Do On a Daily Basis
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance processes.
- Deploy and implement technical architecture solutions supporting business applications in production environments.
- Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to Cloud, DevOps, infrastructure modernization, resilience, and application lifecycle initiatives.
- Manage project governance activities, reporting, budget monitoring, risk management, and steering committees.
- Ensure operational readiness and knowledge transfer to production support and operational teams.
- Define and validate production support SLAs, KPIs, and operational processes.
- Support obsolescence management, application decommissioning, cost optimization, and infrastructure evolution initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders in an international environment.
- Participate in critical deployments, including activities that may occasionally require off-hours or weekend interventions.
- Strong experience in Application Production Support and IT project delivery.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Monitoring and observability expertise using tools such as Dynatrace.
- Strong understanding of production environments, application deployment, and operational resilience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Risk management, project planning, and governance capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expert-level experience in Application Production Support, Production Engineering, or similar roles.
- Experience with monitoring tools, particularly Dynatrace.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) or equivalent practical Cloud project experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- Knowledge of WebSphere, Autosys, and CFT file transfer solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, project methodologies, and production support frameworks.
- Experience working in complex and international environments.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
