YOUR ROLE
As a FlowOne Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting telecom fulfilment and service orchestration solutions within complex customer environments.
You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end telecom transformation projects, contributing to solution architecture, software development, system integration, testing, deployment, and operational support. Working within Agile teams, you will collaborate with architects, integration specialists, business analysts, and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining solutions based on the Nokia FlowOne platform.
- Developing fulfilment and service orchestration workflows supporting telecom provisioning processes.
- Implementing catalogue-driven orchestration and automation solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Building reusable software components, integrations, and automation capabilities.
- Participating in solution architecture discussions and contributing to technical designs.
- Designing and developing integrations with OSS/BSS platforms, network systems, and external applications through REST APIs and web services.
- Developing and maintaining end-to-end orchestration workflows across multiple technology domains.
- Troubleshooting integration issues and supporting service activation processes.
- Developing software primarily using Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Creating automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
- Performing unit testing, integration testing, validation, and defect resolution.
- Supporting UAT, deployment, migration, and Go-Live activities.
- Translating customer requirements into technical solutions and implementation designs.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Producing technical documentation and sharing knowledge across teams.
- Mentoring junior developers and supporting technical capability growth within the team.
- Proven experience in software development within telecommunications environments.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia FlowOne solutions and telecom fulfilment platforms.
- Experience delivering customer-facing telecom transformation and service orchestration projects.
- Strong software development background with:
- Java
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Software Design Principles
- Experience developing and integrating:
- REST APIs
- Web Services
- Service Provisioning Interfaces
- Enterprise System Integrations
- Strong knowledge of telecom service fulfilment and orchestration processes.
- Experience working with catalogue-driven provisioning and workflow-based platforms.
- Knowledge of database technologies including:
- SQL
- Oracle Database
- MariaDB
- Scripting experience using:
- Python
- Bash
- PowerShell
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation practices.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and development environments.
- Strong understanding of one or more of the following telecom domains:
- IP/MPLS Networks
- Optical Transport Networks
- IMS
- VoLTE
- NFV (Network Functions Virtualization)
- SDN (Software Defined Networking)
- Mobile Service Provisioning
- OSS/BSS Ecosystems
- Knowledge of:
- Syslog
- SNMP
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- Experience in 4G and 5G network environments.
