Responsibilities


Our newest opportunity is for a Business Growth Director – Europe, to based out of Porto or Lisbon offices, to lead and accelerate business growth across KEO Europe, working closely with the European leadership team, country teams and Global Divisions to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, support major pursuits and contribute directly to KEO’s growth ambitions across Europe. The role is a key part of our Europe growth plan and will focus on driving business growth across the region, strengthening our client and market development efforts, and supporting the conversion of strategic opportunities into sustainable revenue.


We envisage success in this role to include;


  • Develop and drive business growth initiatives across priority European markets, sectors and geographies.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Division Heads and country teams to develop and execute market, sector and client growth plans.
  • Lead and support major pursuits and proposals, particularly multidisciplinary and cross-divisional opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal teams during strategic bids, ensuring the right technical, commercial and leadership inputs are brought together.
  • Support key account planning, pipeline management, CRM discipline and pursuit governance.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insight and identify new clients, sectors and strategic partnerships.
  • Promote a proactive and commercially focused approach to business development across Europe.


Qualifications


To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years work experience in a similar role within the architectural, engineering, consultancy, construction, built environment or similar professional services industry, with a proven track record of developing client relationships and converting business opportunities.


  • Experience in major proposals, bids and complex multidisciplinary pursuits within the design and built environment sectors.
  • Strong senior-level experience in business development, growth, commercial development or a related role.
  • Experience working within an international, multidisciplinary or matrixed organization.
  • An established network of clients and industry contacts in relevant European markets.
  • Strong client-facing, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded, strategic and hands-on, with a strong focus on execution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Portuguese.
  • Strong understanding of the Portuguese and wider European market.
  • Availability to travel regularly across Europe.
