Who We Are
Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Denmark, we operate in 16 countries around Europe and in the USA, and we are continuously growing our project portfolio. We believe in a future of renewable energy, and we have an ambitious plan of becoming the next generation's "Power Major". Based on a full value chain from greenfield project development to energy trading, more than 700 team members are dedicated to creating a greener future fueled with nothing but renewable energy!
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager (being fluent or native in Portuguese, English AND French) to join our Southern Europe team on a permanent contract. Based at our Porto office, you will be the HR manager for our Southern Europe region — supporting colleagues and managers across offices in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.
Your Role
You will report to the Head of Southern Europe, with a matrix reference to the Global Head of HR in Denmark, and be part of an international HR team of 10 colleagues where knowledge-sharing and sparring are part of everyday life.
At Eurowind, HR is business-driven: you will translate strategy into organisational capability, bring proactive insights and constructive challenge to leaders, and help build a culture where people perform and thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted HR business partner to managers across Southern Europe — providing proactive, outcome-driven advice and constructive challenge where needed
- Driving recruitment across all four countries in close collaboration with hiring managers — from defining the role and sourcing candidates to making the final hire
- Owning the full employee lifecycle across the region, including onboarding, development, and offboarding
- Leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive HR tasks and improve consistency across people processes
- Rolling out global HR tools, processes and standards across the region, ensuring strong local execution
- Handling HR administration including contracts, employee lifecycle processes and HR system management — supported by local office assistants for day-to-day operational tasks
- Supporting leadership quality and decision-making through data-driven insights and sound people practices
- Contributing to a culture of engagement, well-being and high performance
- Travelling regularly between our Southern European offices to build relationships and stay close to the business
What We Offer
This is a role with real weight. You will have significant responsibility and genuine influence across four countries, while being part of an experienced, collaborative international HR team that supports and challenges each other. The team is close-knit across borders, and you will have a direct line into both regional leadership and the global HR community.
- A permanent contract with full integration into the global Eurowind HR team
- A Master in HR or other related area
- Strong support and sparring from experienced international HR colleagues
- A flexible, trust-based working environment — with the freedom to structure your work around the needs of the business
- Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-growing international company
- Regular travel across our Southern European offices, keeping you close to the business
Required Competencies & Skills
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment and knows how to navigate complexity across borders.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience from a similar HR business partner role — preferably in an international or multi-site context
- Comfortable handling the full HR value chain — from operational tasks and onboarding/offboarding to strategic HR partnering
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with local management and an international HR team
- Takes ownership, works in a structured way, and translates business needs into pragmatic HR solutions
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation; knowledge of French employment law is an advantage. No prior knowledge of Italian or Spanish legislation is expected — you will be supported by local legal expertise when needed
- A Must: Fluency in the three languages Portuguese, French and English (written and spoken)
- Genuine curiosity about AI and digital tools in everyday HR work
- A clean criminal record is required for this role
