Shipping and Logistics Analyst

MISSION:

As part of our Rise in Motion program, we are looking for talented professionals eager to develop their careers in the shipping and logistics industry.

Drive, develop, and manage shipping trades to earn customers’ loyalty and optimize vessel loading capacity, delivering maximum value to the Group. The Shipping and Logistics Analyst (Agency Trade) coordinates HO/RO Lines and Sales Offices, producing and analyzing vessel profiles and commercial forecasts, and acts as a key link between local operations and Group strategy.

FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze and identify market opportunities by trade, leveraging deep knowledge of the CMA CGM network and its commercial ecosystem.
• Perform customer segmentation & target strategic accounts
• Support agency CCO to Define & pilot commercial strategy (budget, action plan…)
• Manage IFF, GA and local VIP tenders ensuring competitive and compliant offers
• Report to Lines issues related to pricing, routing
• Build & analyze vessel profiles to support optimal capacity utilization
• Produce accurate commercial forecasts and contribute to business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with all CMA CGM departments and Head Office to ensure seamless information flow and execution

SKILLS:

· Relevant and up-to-date Master's degree in Management, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong customer orientation and ability to build lasting relationships
• Advanced negotiation and pricing skills
• Business intelligence and analytical capabilities
• Ability to manage own activity and deliver results independently
• Proficiency in English (French is a plus)
• Strong command of relevant software and IT applications
