Role Mission
The Senior Client Executive sits within Client Services and plays a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality client programmes while also contributing actively to account growth through upsell and cross‑sell.
This role combines strong project and insight delivery ownership with a commercial mindset, supporting the expansion of existing client relationships by identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and working closely with senior commercial and client leaders to convert growth opportunities.
The Senior Client Executive is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy on projects, act as a trusted day‑to‑day client contact, and progressively develop the confidence and capability to spot, structure and support commercial opportunities within their client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Delivery Excellence (Core Accountability)
- Lead and manage client projects end‑to‑end, from brief through to delivery and debrief, ensuring high quality, timeliness, and reliability.
- Act as the primary day‑to‑day client contact on assigned projects, building trust through professional, clear, and proactive communication.
- Own project planning, coordination, and execution across internal teams, escalating risks and dependencies where appropriate.
- Ensure delivery is aligned with agreed scope, timelines, and budget, maintaining strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
- Translate data and analysis into clear, actionable insights and recommendations tailored to client business needs.
Commercial Contribution & Account Growth
- Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing client accounts, based on client needs, category dynamics, and solution relevance.
- Support Client Managers, Client Directors, or Client Partners in shaping and developing commercial opportunities, including solution scoping and value articulation.
- Contribute to proposal development, including drafting sections, shaping insight‑led narratives, and supporting pricing and scope definition.
- Support internal commercial planning by flagging growth opportunities, client risks, and expansion potential within assigned accounts.
- Develop increasing confidence in discussing solutions and value with clients, within a guided and supported commercial framework.
Client Relationship Development
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at operational and mid‑senior levels.
- Demonstrate curiosity about the client’s business, category, and strategic priorities, using this understanding to anticipate needs.
- Actively contribute to account planning discussions, bringing insight from delivery and client interactions.
- Represent the client voice internally, ensuring alignment between client needs and internal delivery teams.
Collaboration & Ways of Working
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (e.g. analytics, solutions, operations) to deliver integrated, high‑impact outputs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client service processes, workflows, and best practices within Client Services.
- Support knowledge sharing and consistency across projects and accounts.
- Act as a role model for delivery excellence and professional standards within the team.
Development & Progression
- Actively seek feedback and coaching to strengthen delivery, client management, and commercial skills.
- Support and coach more junior team members where appropriate, sharing best practices and delivery standards.
- Build commercial and client leadership capability as a foundation for progression and growth

Key Capabilities
Your background will ideally look like this…
- Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Management, Sociology, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Relevant experience in market research, consumer insights, client service, FMCG, retail, category management or data analytics.
- Experience working with Retail, FMCG or shopper / consumer panel data is highly valued.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and work effectively in a fast-paced client-service environment.
- Experience preparing client-facing presentations, reports and analytical recommendations.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numerical data.
- Advanced Excel skills, including ability to structure analysis, manipulate data and apply formulas accurately.
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, visually effective and client-ready presentations.
- Ability to interpret data critically and translate findings into concise, commercially relevant conclusions.
- Familiarity with consumer panel, retail tracking, shopper insights or business intelligence tools is an advantage.

Languages
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
- Spanish is an advantage.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Salary Range: 26K-28K + Annual Bonus and Benefits
