Velox Electro Europe, one of the fastest-growing electrical contractors, delivering large-scale data center projects across Europe, is seeking an experienced HR Manager for the Leiria office. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic and operational initiatives. They will maintain and enhance HR policies, processes and practices, with a strong focus on employment legislation, employee relations and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and offboarding.
Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, EU regulations and company policies, including equal treatment and Equal Pay requirements.
Manage and follow up on employee postings/assignments to different countries, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, registration, documentation and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with external advisors, authorities and relevant stakeholders regarding employment, immigration, social security and posting-related matters when required.
Ensure employment contracts, HR documentation and employee records are maintained accurately and in accordance with legal requirements.
Support the organization in relation to working conditions, working time, sickness absence, leave and other employment law matters.
Provide HR reporting and relevant people metrics to management.
Manage employee relations and contribute to a professional, compliant and positive working environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within an international or fast-growing organization.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR compliance.
Experience with international employee assignments/postings and cross-border employment matters.
Good understanding of employment contracts, working conditions, employee relations and HR documentation.
Experience dealing with external authorities, advisors or other stakeholders on employment-related matters is an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
