YOUR ROLE
Joining Capgemini Engineering as a Microsoft Endpoint Management Specialist, you will play a key role in the operation, support, maintenance and configuration of Microsoft endpoint environments for one of Portugal's leading telecommunications clients. Working in a hands-on capacity, you will bring your technical expertise to complex endpoint management challenges, ensuring the stability, security, and evolution of hybrid corporate environments.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Managing and operating Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune, ensuring reliable deployment, configuration, and compliance across corporate devices
- Administering hybrid Azure AD environments, including device management, user and group policies, security and compliance configurations within Intune
- Leading patch management and update processes, including the creation, monitoring, and management of update RINGs to ensure systems remain secure and up to date
- Developing and maintaining automation processes using SCCM, MDT, and Task Sequences, alongside managing BitLocker and MBAM solutions for endpoint security
- Resolving incidents through structured troubleshooting, while maintaining accurate technical documentation and keeping support tickets updated in a timely manner
We are looking for a technically solid and proactive Endpoint Management Specialist who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and thrives in a client-facing, team-oriented environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in endpoint management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM, including OS deployment, application management, and patch compliance
- Solid knowledge of hybrid Azure AD environments, combined with a good understanding of Microsoft Windows, hardware, and basic networking concepts
- Experience with security and compliance management, including device enrolment, policy configuration, reporting, and BitLocker/MBAM administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to incident resolution, prioritisation, and delivering a positive impact for the client
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), with ITIL certification or knowledge being a valued plus; a valid driving licence and availability for travel are advantageous
