Permanent Control Oversight Specialist

- Coordinate and consolidate BNP Paribas Entities' Operational Permanent Control (OPC) activities in Portugal, in liaison with the central setups and reporting already in place and set a transversal Program Management approach for large-scale and regulatory initiatives in Portugal
- Consolidate a Territory Oversight view (run and change) with a focus on nearshored activities (Controls overview, Recommendations monitoring, Risk assessments e.g. RCSAs) and identify potential gap
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for Permanent Control on the COO support functions, Company Engagement and other transversal Territory functions, in liaison with central teams
- Provide consolidated reporting for Permanent Control activities to the COO and senior management
- Enhance the integration of large-scale and regulatory initiatives in Portugal: assess new regulatory obligations and initiatives impacting Portugal Territory in coordination with local Compliance and other stakeholders, with a special focus on nearshored activities
- Promote collaboration within the unit and between the unit and remaining teams in the Bank
- Ensures the services delivered by the unit are aligned with clients expectations, regulations and procedures in place
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within CIB and the different entities located in Portugal
- Master's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance and accounting or other related areas
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Risks and Controls or Banking and Financial Operations
- Expert in Risk Management Tools
- Expert in MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Expert in Compliance, namely Regulatory Banking
- Fluent level of English
- Able to manage a project and make decisions
- High attention to detail
- Able to develop and leverage networks
