Storekeeper – Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Projects
We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to join our international project teams across Europe. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient management, storage, control, and distribution of tools, equipment, spare parts, materials, and consumables required for successful project execution.
About The Role
The Storekeeper plays a vital role in supporting project operations by ensuring that all materials, equipment, and tools are accurately received, stored, tracked, and distributed according to project requirements. Working closely with Site Managers, Team Leaders, Logistics Coordinators, and technical teams, the Storekeeper ensures that projects have the necessary resources available while maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and inventory accuracy.
This position may involve working across warehouses, storage facilities, construction sites, and project locations depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, label, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables in accordance with project procedures and client requirements.
Verify incoming deliveries against shipping and inventory documentation, reporting any discrepancies, shortages, damage, or missing items.
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure the timely availability of materials required for project activities.
Issue and track tools, equipment, and materials provided to project personnel and maintain proper documentation of returns and usage.
Support loading, unloading, packing, unpacking, and transportation activities while ensuring materials are handled safely and correctly.
Monitor the condition, storage requirements, and expiry dates of materials and consumables, reporting any issues when identified.
Maintain warehouse and storage areas in a safe, clean, organised, and efficient condition while ensuring compliance with project, client, and company standards.
Support inventory counts, stock audits, toolbox talks, project coordination meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and stock accuracy.
Ensure full compliance with MWS, client, logistics, warehouse, and QHSE procedures at all times.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, stock control, inventory management, or a similar role.
Good understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and material control procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records and work with inventory or warehouse management systems.
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration within project teams.
Knowledge of safe manual handling techniques and warehouse safety practices.
Experience within wind energy, construction, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or technical environments is considered advantageous.
Basic understanding of tools, equipment, spare parts, and technical materials.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Valid driving licence.
Forklift or telehandler certification is advantageous and may be required depending on project location.
