YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a software background to lead software engineering activities within a cutting-edge aerospace semiconductor program. The role combines project management, technical leadership, and delivery coordination across multidisciplinary engineering teams working on advanced embedded and silicon-related technologies.
Key Responsabilities:
- Act as the primary interface between customer and internal stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Lead software-related workstreams within a semiconductor and embedded systems environment.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including software, architecture, and silicon engineering experts.
- Drive project planning, risk management, resource management, and delivery governance.
- Support technical discussions related to embedded platforms, virtualization, and system architectures.
- Contribute to the definition and evaluation of future aerospace computing solutions.
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations, technical roadmaps, and project execution.
- Drive project execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, Engineering Manager in software development environments.
- Strong background in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or System Engineering.
- Experience leading complex engineering engagements or large-scale technical programs.
- Proven customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing distributed technical teams.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and engineering governance.
- Ability to operate in highly technical environments and engage with architects and technical experts.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Software Engineering, Embedded Systems or Software Architecture.
- Experience in Semiconductor or Silicon Engineering environments, namely with Virtualization Technologies, SystemC-based simulation/co-simulation, or RISC-V architectures.
- Previous experience in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Semiconductor, or other safety-critical industries.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications.
- Experience working within international and multicultural organizations.
