French Trainer - Lisbon, Portugal

We are looking for a talented French Trainer to be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions, as also measuring the efficiency of each training process and improve metrics.

As a Trainer in this project, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
  • Translate requirements into training that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
  • Build an annual training program and prepare teaching plans
  • Develop or oversee, training roadmap/modules, classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
  • Deliver the training content through various channels/ mediums.
  • Ensure self-paced training courses are completed
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure the incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee's work behavior
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
  • Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
  • Serve as a single point of contact for all product training and documentation needs
  • Creates learning experiences that equip new and long-term associates to excel in their work environments through expert classroom instruction, on-floor mentoring, and one-to-one skills coaching. Creates and maintains a positive learning environment.
  • Modifies and presents training programs for representatives/agents.
  • Maintaining project training documentation
  • Tracks and analyzes training programs by examining agent performance. Recommends changes to training programs, correlating them with KPIs.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Stays informed about client processes and recommends program changes where appropriate
  • Perform any other reasonable duties that may be requested by the Client or Direct Managers
  • Take responsibility for your personal development.
  • Understand and comply with all regulatory, fair-trading, and competition rules and adhere to Health,
  • Safety and Security responsibilities.
  • Attend trainer meetings
  • Takes personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client security requirements and policies
  • Ensures that all team members (Foundever) comply fully with the security policies and requirements of Foundever and its Clients, ensuring staff is given an appropriate level of knowledge/awareness to be able to comply with the policies within the context of their role and taking appropriate action when non-compliance is identified



To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

  • Native level of French (mandatory)
  • Advanced level of English
  • Good organization/ time management skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to make fair and consistent judgments and decisions
  • Ability to solve problems and offer suggestions
  • Ability to influence behavior
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to give constructive feedback to the agents which lead to performance improvement
  • Counseling skills
  • Good knowledge of effective scripting
  • Experience of relevant training and coaching techniques
  • Good listening skills
  • Logical and objective approach to call assessment
  • Ability to provide feedback in a positive and supportive manner
  • Ability to assess agents’ professional, linguistic, technical, and diagnostic skills, identify strengths/weaknesses and recommend solutions
  • Ability to facilitate 1:1 and group coaching sessions and to provide constructive, non-biased feedback to agents to ensure that all quality assessments are fair and objective.
  • Able to effectively use Microsoft applications (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, etc)
  • Able to use video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom Adobe Connect etc)
  • Availability for work Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM (rotational shifts/schedule apply)
  • Availability for work 100% from our Santos site in Lisbon

Education And Experience.

  • Minimum 6 months of call center experience and previous teaching or coaching/training experience would be an advantage
  • Should be at least one certified/finalized professional education
  • Special Certifications: CAP
