Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas:
- Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement;
- IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.
We are seeking a FullStack Developer (React + Node) to work on a Tech project.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain scalable backend services using serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions), ensuring performance and reliability;
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Node.js and TypeScript, supporting maintainability and team collaboration;
- Design and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices, following best practices for modularity and scalability;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define, design, and deliver impactful features aligned with business goals;
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of development standards;
- Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in scalability and reliability;
- Develop and maintain React-based frontend applications, including state management and frontend performance optimization;
- Manage and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes;
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development;
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js;
- Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices;
- Hands-on experience with React, including state management (Redux or Zustand) and frontend performance optimization;
- Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and full-stack development;
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration;
- Familiarity with version control platforms such as GitHub or GitLab;
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform);
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for deployment automation;
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis;
- Cloud platform experience (GCP and/or AWS).
Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
