THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Java Developer (Global Markets) for a national project.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the application;
- Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance;
- Participate in an agile based software development life cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews;
- Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components;
- Work directly with business users to understand the requirements and perform L3 support when needed.
- Computer Science major (or related) with high GPA or 3 years of relevant experience;
- Experience with understanding the requirements and software application testing;
- Experience frontend or fullstack development and/or experience with asyncronous messaging and/or ability to navigate and understand evolved codebases;
- Experience in agile development methodologies and team collaboration;
- Ideally, exposure to Corporate Investment Banking, understanding of Cash Equities;
- Solid experience with Java 21+ and Spring framework;
- Experience with RDBMs and SQL;
- Knowledge of Messaging;
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Maven, Git, Shell scripting, JavaScript;
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
