Our proposal for you is within the Assurance area — the largest line of service at PwC Portugal (covering Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique). In this service line, you will have direct and regular contact with clients, as well as the opportunity to work closely with different industries and technologies.

Our work goes far beyond delivering reports on historical financial information — we consistently aim to support our clients in managing their businesses, providing continuous, effective, efficient and integrated advice. The increasing use of technology is now an essential part of our approach, making Audit more efficient and enabling deeper, automated and risk‑oriented analyses.

Just to clarify, in case you’re not familiar: the purpose of an audit is to form an opinion on whether the information presented in the financial report, as a whole, reflects the organisation’s financial position at a given date — but in reality, it goes far beyond that…

As part of the Assurance service line, the professional to be hired will be responsible for planning and performing audit procedures in the areas of Financial Services and Industry & Services, within a context of constant technological evolution.

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree preferably in Management, Audit or Accounting;
Knowledge and/or additional training in data processing technologies, artificial intelligence and/or programming will be valued;
Analytical curiosity and interest in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in audit processes;
Good command of the English language;
Proficiency in Microsoft tools;
Responsibility, authenticity, resilience and attention to detail;
Strong communication skills;
Dynamism and proactivity;
An open and global mindset.
