Junior Systems Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join a project carried out on-site at a client’s facilities, in the municipality of Anadia.

The main responsibilities are:

• Set up, configure, and manage operating systems and applications for end users.
• Monitor and support users’ IT infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve system infrastructure issues.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Establish contact with the Eurotux team to receive remote support, whenever necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; certifications and professional experience are highly valued.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software applications.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and system monitoring tools.
• Good command of English.
• Residing in Anadia or surrounding areas (southern Aveiro or northern Coimbra).
• Availability to start in the short term;
• Versatility, flexibility, proactivity, and dynamism.
• Strong communication skills and good interpersonal relationships.
• Enthusiasm for learning and tackling new challenges.
• A sense of responsibility and precision, with strong analytical, planning, organisational, and time management skills.
