Role Overview:
As a Content Moderator, you will review and assess content published across an e-commerce marketplace, including product listings, images, descriptions, customer reviews, and seller-generated content. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all content meets platform guidelines, quality requirements, and relevant regulations, contributing to a secure, trustworthy, and reliable marketplace for both buyers and sellers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review product listings, descriptions, images, customer reviews, and other marketplace content to ensure compliance with platform policies and quality standards.
- Detect and take appropriate action on prohibited, deceptive, fraudulent, misleading, or low-quality content that could negatively affect the user experience.
- Apply content moderation guidelines consistently and make accurate, objective, and well-informed decisions.
- Monitor seller- and customer-generated content to help protect marketplace integrity and maintain user trust.
- Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk cases according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain excellent accuracy and attention to detail while managing high volumes of content efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support platform safety, regulatory compliance, and broader operational goals.
- Achieve defined performance targets related to quality, productivity, accuracy, and turnaround times.
- Stay up to date with platform policies, e-commerce regulations, industry developments, and emerging marketplace risks.
- Share feedback and improvement suggestions to enhance moderation processes, internal tools, and overall operational efficiency.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Hungarian (C1/C2) and English (B2).
- Eligibility: EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese residency card.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in content moderation or a related analytical role.
