Challenges you'll love: Lead Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Design and execute the recruitment strategy across Highgate Portugal's hotel portfolio.
- Anticipate workforce needs by partnering with business leaders and hotel HR teams.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for operational, management and corporate positions.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes to deliver speed, quality and an exceptional hiring experience.
Be a Strategic Business Partner
- Partner closely with General Managers, Directors and senior stakeholders to understand business priorities.
- Challenge hiring managers when needed and advise on the best recruitment solutions.
- Support workforce planning and succession initiatives across the business.
- Become the trusted recruitment expert for our leadership teams.
Attract Outstanding Talent
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies using digital platforms, networking, referrals and industry partnerships.
- Build relationships with hospitality schools, universities and professional associations.
- Represent Highgate Portugal at recruitment events and career fairs.
- Create talent communities that keep future candidates engaged with our brand.
Elevate Our Employer Brand
- Position Highgate Portugal as one of the hospitality industry's employers of choice.
- Lead employer branding campaigns across social media and recruitment platforms.
- Collaborate with Marketing and HR to showcase our people, culture and career opportunities.
- Ensure every candidate has a positive, engaging and memorable recruitment experience.
Deliver Recruitment Excellence
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple hotels and departments.
- Ensure consistency, fairness and quality throughout every hiring process.
- Apply competency-based interviewing and robust assessment methods.
- Support executive recruitment and confidential searches when required.
Drive Decisions Through Data
- Monitor and analyse recruitment KPI's
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Use market intelligence and recruitment data to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

What you need to shine in this role:
- Significant experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience managing recruitment across multiple hotel properties or business units.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent sourcing strategies.
- Experience building employer branding initiatives.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong business relationships.
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analysing recruitment metrics.
- Knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation related to recruitment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel regularly, with the Algarve as the preferred base.
