Key Responsibilities
BIM Strategy & Implementation
- Define, implement, and manage the company's BIM strategy, standards, and workflows in alignment with industry best practices (ISO 19650).
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for all projects and ensure consistent adherence by internal and external teams.
- Drive the integration of BIM into all project phases - sales, design, coordination, construction, commissioning, and facilities handover.
- Ensure all BIM models and data outputs support wider business needs, including asset management and sustainability reporting.
- Oversee the creation, coordination, and validation of multidisciplinary BIM models (architecture, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural).
- Manage clash detection, coordination reviews, and design validation to reduce rework and ensure construction accuracy.
- Support project teams in maintaining accurate model-based deliverables, drawings, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with design consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with the company's BIM standards and protocols.
- Evaluate and implement digital tools to improve design coordination, visualization, and project data management.
- Champion the use of parametric modeling, digital twins, and data-driven design methodologies.
- Manage the integration of BIM data with other platforms (e.g., ERP, CDE, GIS, CMMS).
- Stay current with evolving BIM technologies, automation tools, and data standards to continuously enhance company capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to design and project teams on BIM processes and tools.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration between internal stakeholders (Sales Engineering, Design, Engineering, Delivery, Operations) on BIM deliverables.
- Act as the primary BIM interface with external partners - consultants, contractors, and technology providers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 7+ years of experience in BIM management within large-scale, multidisciplinary design or construction environments.
- Strong command of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and related collaboration platforms.
- Proven experience with ISO 19650 workflows, BIM standards, and document management best practices.
- Excellent understanding of data center or mission-critical facility design, or other complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Experience in Digital Twin implementation and integration with operations systems.
- Certification in BIM Management or ISO 19650 accreditation is a plus.
