Responsibilities

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
Facilitate workshops, interviews and process mapping sessions.
Analyse existing GIS-related processes, workflows and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and delivery documentation.
Collaborate with GIS Specialists, Data Teams, Solution Architects and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the implementation and enhancement of ESRI-based geospatial solutions.
Perform gap analysis, impact assessments and business process modelling.
Ensure GIS and business data requirements are accurately captured and documented.
Support testing activities, including UAT planning, coordination and execution.
Assist with change management activities and promote stakeholder adoption of new GIS-enabled processes and technologies.
Provide clear communication and regular updates to project teams and senior stakeholders

Essential Skills

Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong experience working with ESRI/GIS technologies, including geospatial data, mapping solutions and GIS workflows.
Experience delivering Business Analysis within geospatial environments.
Proven ability to gather, analyse and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience facilitating workshops and business process mapping sessions.
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.
Experience working across the full end-to-end project lifecycle.
Availability to commit to a long-term engagement.
