Role Overview

Are you fluent in Romanian and English? Do you have the emotional resilience to help maintain a safe and positive online community?

We are seeking Romanian-Speaking Content Moderators to join a specialized team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be on the front lines of digital safety, reviewing user-generated content for a world-leading global social media and video platform. Your local market insights and quick judgment will ensure the platform remains secure and compliant with legal guidelines.

Important Project Note: Due to the nature of content moderation, this role involves regular exposure to sensitive, explicit, or potentially disturbing material. Candidates must possess high emotional balance, maturity, and psychological resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and moderate user-uploaded video, text, and image content according to platform safety guidelines.
  • Identify and flag content that violates legal regulations, copyright laws, or community policies.
  • Work efficiently to maintain established quality standards and quick response metrics.
  • Handle policy adaptations smoothly and follow step-by-step internal procedures for escalating sensitive cases.


Requirements & Profile Needed

  • Languages: Native or proficient level of Romanian paired with a strong intermediate level of English (B2 minimum).
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, objective decision-making skills, and sharp attention to detail.
  • Mindset: High levels of professional empathy, stress tolerance, and emotional stability when dealing with complex digital media.
  • Location: Ready to work fully on-site in Porto, Portugal.


Work Schedule & Rotational Shifts

  • Location: Fully office-based (100% On-Site) at our modern operations hub in Porto.
  • Schedule: 24/7 coverage, operating on rotational shifts from Monday to Sunday.
  • Shift Rotation Blocks: 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM, 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM, or 10:30 PM – 07:30 AM.


Relocation Support

For eligible candidates moving internationally to join this project in Portugal, we offer a dedicated relocation framework:

  • Accommodation Support: Access to company-shared accommodation for up to 12 months (specific structural terms are thoroughly reviewed during your interview).
  • Note: Initial flight and travel tickets are not covered under this relocation plan.

  • Base Salary Structure: A fixed monthly base salary distributed over 14 months per year.
