Körber AG
ServiceNow SPM Consultant & Quality Integration Engineer (m/f/d)
Your role in our teamAs part of Körber's group-wide strategic agenda, ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) is currently being established as the single source of truth for all innovation and R&D portfolio activities across Körber's Business Areas and Business Units. This role is critical to that mission: it ensures that data from distributed third-party systems is reliably ingested, transformed, validated, and maintained within the ServiceNow SPM platform - forming the data backbone that all portfolio decisions depend on. This role also goes beyond the mere technical execution and requires a genuine understanding of the underlying business domains and its data SPM Operations & Support
- Act as the go-to person for SPM platform questions and data-related issues raised by Business Area users or the application team.
- Support go-live phases by coordinating with data owners to ensure portfolio data is clean, complete, and ready for use. Contribute to integration tests and UAT, ensuring data correctness and that the platform behaves as business users expect
- Build a solid understanding of how innovation and R&D portfolio management works in practice — including project lifecycles, key data entities (status, budgets, resources, milestones), and what good data looks like from a business perspective.
- Use that understanding to actively curate portfolio data — identifying issues that pass technical checks but are wrong in a business context, and working with data owners to resolve them.
- Act as a practical advisor to Business Area data owners, helping them understand data quality requirements and improve discipline at the source.
- Design and run data quality checks covering completeness, consistency, accuracy, and referential integrity — as part of ingestion pipelines and as regular operational health checks.
- Maintain a data quality monitoring framework in ServiceNow SPM, including dashboards and exception reports that give stakeholders clear visibility of platform health.
- Document findings, root causes, and fixes in a structured way; track recurring issues and drive lasting solutions rather than one-off patches.
Data Quality & Governance
- Define SPM ServiceNow data quality standards and validation rules for all data imported.
- Maintain data dictionaries, field mappings, and transformation logic — ensuring they reflect how the business actually uses the data.
- Establish and maintain data dictionaries, field mappings, and transformation logic across all connected data sources.
- Conduct regular data audits and reconciliation checks between source systems and ServiceNow SPM.
Data Integration & Ingestion
- Design, build, and operate integration pipelines connecting third-party systems (SAP, Excel, project management tools) to ServiceNow SPM.
- Translate portfolio management requirements into integration specs using ServiceNow-native capabilities
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, ServiceNow platform team, and BA/BU data owners to align integration design with business needs.
Automation & Vibe Coding
- Automate repetitive data tasks using scripted and low-code approaches, including AI-assisted coding techniques.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (JavaScript/Glide in ServiceNow; Python for pre-processing) to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
