As a Senior Functional Tester, you are not just validating features — you are safeguarding quality, driving improvements, and shaping the way we test. You play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards while collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and fellow testers across teams.
Your Role
As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and overall quality of new and existing features within Miles.
You will:
- Design, document and execute functional test scenarios and test cases
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into structured test approaches
- Detect, document and follow up on defects in close collaboration with development teams
- Contribute to test automation initiatives and help improve automation frameworks
- Support integration, regression, and performance testing activities
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Safeguard QA standards, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
- Take ownership of testing initiatives within your domain
- Lead testing efforts across projects or domains
- Define and improve quality standards and testing strategies
- Mentor junior testers and share best practices
- Strengthen automation and performance testing capabilities within the team

We’d love to see the following aspects as well:
- Several years (5+ preferred) of experience in functional testing within an enterprise software product environment
- Proven experience testing complex platforms (ERP systems experience is a strong plus)
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques and structured testing methodologies
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with integration testing and performance/load testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders
- Leadership mindset with mentoring capabilities
- Experience working in an Agile setup
- Fluent in English, as we are an international and multicultural company
