Job Purpose



Responsible for performing maintenance and facility activities within the Queluz plant to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. This role supports operational continuity through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and facility support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high operational standards.



A glimpse of your daily mission

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities, including electrical systems, water, gas, steam, lighting, piping, air compressors, forklifts, and air conditioning systems.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility-related issues to minimize downtime and support efficient plant operations.

  • Execute preventive maintenance plans and follow standard operating procedures to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Complete and maintain maintenance documentation, including work orders, maintenance records, inspection reports, and spare parts usage.

  • Support facility improvement projects, renovations, plant layout modifications, and infrastructure maintenance activities.

  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and relocation of production equipment and facility systems.

  • Support external contractors during maintenance and facility-related activities, ensuring work is performed safely and according to site requirements.

  • Carry out inspections of meters, valves, utilities, and facility systems to ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards.

  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance, safety, quality, and operational performance.

  • Promote a safe working environment by following company procedures and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.

Your Qualifications

  • Technical degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and facilities within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment.

  • Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Basic English communication skills are considered an advantage.
