The Operational and Permanent Control (OPC) Data Analyst plays a key role in Global Banking Chief Conduct and Control Officer (GB CCCO) Office Front-to-Ops missions and worldwide mandate to support on the identification and assessment of non-financial risks. It ensures the enforcement and efficiency of the control framework and to promote an adequate risk management culture.
Your Main Activities Are
- Data monitoring and report through the creation of business-facing dashboards and high impact data visualizations and analysis
- Understand the stakeholders strategic needs
- Create descriptive, predictive, and quantitative analyses addressing key business priorities and supporting the decision making
- Support and monitor the run of these activities of data analysis, reporting and data mining
- Supporting on the analysis of risk identification and assessment ensuring its validation by the relevant management level and consistency with the defined risk tolerance
- Monitor and Report Recommendations, Permanent Control Actions, Self-identified action plans and follow-up of remediation plans
- Centralize and automate reports production, gathering major operational risks indicators (automated KPI and KRI dashboards)
- Automate relevant sampling creation, control execution and reporting
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate level of management and to independent control functions
- Show ability to take ownership of specific OPC activity streams and topics being able to deliver the full and exhaustive actions taken
- Whenever needed, support on management of procedures, control execution, incidents monitoring and any other CCCO GB related tasks
- Provide visibility on performance and activities of CCCO GB within the team or any other stakeholder
- Bachelor's or Master´s Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or Finance related fields
- Fluency in English
- Up to 2 years of experience in data analytics
- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL
- Attention to detail and creative thinking
