Your mission will be…
As a Software Product Champion, you will act as the central interface between Customer Service, Regions, R&D, and Quality for complex software topics, with a strong focus on interoperability between EV charging systems and backend platforms
Your responsibilities include:
- Act as the single point of coordination for complex software field issues related to backend connectivity, interoperability, and system integration.
- Collect, structure, and validate technical information from Regions, Field Service Engineers, and service tickets to ensure high quality issue analysis.
- Serve as the final escalation level from Technical Support to R&D when issues cannot be resolved within standard support processes.
- Translate field issues into clear, structured technical cases, including root cause hypotheses, customer impact, installed base risk, and service constraints.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, and Quality Management to define feasible and service ready solutions.
- Represent Customer Service and operational needs in cross functional discussions and escalation forums.
- Identify recurring patterns and trends from service data and proactively contribute to product reliability, maintainability, and quality improvements.
- Support quality processes (e.g. investigations and corrective actions) when software or interoperability topics indicate potential product or design issues.
- Contribute to service documentation, knowledge articles, and internal enablement activities across the Service organization.
We are looking for someone with…
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Strong IT and software background, ideally with experience in backend systems, APIs, cloud platforms, or system interoperability.
- Knowledge of EV charging ecosystems and interoperability standards (e.g. OCPP) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in Customer Service, Technical Support, Service Engineering, or similar roles in a technical environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical topics end to end, including escalation handling and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between field realities and R&D requirements.
- A structured, analytical, and solution oriented mindset.
- Ability to work confidently in an international, cross functional environment.
- Fluency in English (international working environment); additional languages are a plus.
