We are building one global product team operating a mission-critical, Kafka-based messaging platform globally. Our teams already demonstrate strong engineering practices, shared ownership, and a high level of automation. The next step is ensuring that this cross-continental setup truly functions as one cohesive, high-performing unit. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Global Agile Coach who understands that success in this environment is not about introducing new frameworks or roles — but about designing the right collaboration mechanisms for distributed teams. You will start by enabling the Message & Event Platform team and gradually expand your impact across the broader Data Platform & Stores product group, supporting multiple globally distributed teams.

How you create impact

• Enable teams to collaborate, decide, and deliver as one global unit, independent of location
• Strengthen shared ownership across distributed teams while actively preventing silos
• Coach teams on cross-cultural collaboration and psychological safety to build trust and openness
• Facilitate key agile ceremonies (e.g., retrospectives, reviews, planning) ensuring balanced participation across locations
• Design and implement lightweight collaboration mechanisms that improve transparency and decision-making
• Identify and address risks such as misalignment, knowledge silos, and location-based bias or hierarchy
• Drive improvements in communication, feedback loops, and distributed decision-making practices
• Act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant, supporting multiple teams in scaling effective global collaboration

What we would like you to bring

• Proven experience coaching globally distributed teams
• Strong track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams across cultures and locations
• Extensive experience as an Agile Coach, Team Coach, or Senior Scrum Master in complex environments
• Deep understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and distributed team challenges
• Expertise in facilitating decision-making, alignment, and feedback in remote-first setups
• Strong knowledge of psychological safety and modern feedback cultures
• Ability to focus on systems, interactions, and outcomes rather than rigid frameworks
• Comfortable working with mature, autonomous teams, enabling alignment without adding unnecessary structure
• Fluent in written and spoken English
