What You'll Do:
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Provide end-to-end technical and functional support to ensure high availability and stability of the application landscape.
- Incident & Crisis Management: Lead production incident resolution, coordinate service restoration, and conduct thorough Post-Incident Reviews (PIR).
- Monitor & Automate: Oversee the execution of batch jobs and data flows while leveraging CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) to automate production tasks.
- Govern Security & Resilience: Implement ITIL standards, manage Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
- Expert Consulting: Act as the production authority during application releases, defining performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track system health.
- Innovation & Watch: Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new observability or automation tools to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Application Production Support or Systems Engineering within an enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in Containerization & Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (OpenShift), and IBM Cloud.
- Command of Linux & Scripting: Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and automation using Python, Shell, or YAML.
- Observability Mastery: Deep knowledge of monitoring stacks such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or SysDig.
- Middleware & Scheduling: Experience managing Kafka, CFT, and Control-M scheduling.Methodology: Strong grasp of ITIL frameworks and Business Continuity Planning (BCP/HA).
- Communication: Fluent English is required (minimum B2); French is considered a significant advantage.
