What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement an organization-wide data strategy aligned with business processes and goals
- Design and document end-to-end data architecture solutions, including data models, data flows, and storage layers
- Support project proposals by providing architectural input and technical recommendations
- Define and enforce data standards, principles, and architectural best practices
- Evaluate, select, and recommend data technologies throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and processes
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to project teams and stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
- Proven experience designing and implementing data models and database schemas
- Solid understanding of data integration approaches, including ETL/ELT processes and tools
- Experience with data governance, data security, and data privacy practices
- Familiarity with modern data storage and processing technologies, such as data warehouses and data lakes
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and services, such as AWS Redshift and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
