Strategic Digital Consultant – Data & AI

A Snapshot of Your Day You start your day aligning with business stakeholders on ongoing AI initiatives across the Service Business Capability, ensuring visibility, alignment, and scalability of use cases across business areas. You facilitate discussions on the AI roadmap, connecting teams working on similar topics and enabling reuse of solutions instead of duplication. You may then switch to driving a proof-of-concept with enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP), unlocking built-in AI capabilities and translating them into tangible business value. You collaborate with university partners or internal teams to shape future AI research topics, define business cases, and align funding and delivery plans. You close the day by reviewing progress across your AI portfolio and preparing insights for leadership on impact, risks, and next steps.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Shape AI Strategy & Service Business Roadmap: define and drive AI strategy and roadmaps for the Service Business Capability’s AI Program across the company.
• Enable transparency and governance of AI initiatives across the organization through the definition of central transparency tools and processes.
• Lead AI use cases in enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Sales Force) to unlock business value.
• Manage and execute AI R&D portfolio (e.g. project risk assessment, forecasting).
• Build and leverage university partnerships for innovation and funding.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to scale and reuse AI solutions across business areas.

• Experience & Background: proven experience in AI strategy, portfolio management, or digital transformation in an enterprise setting.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions and measurable outcomes (ROI, KPIs).
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
• Solid background in AI/ML concepts, with applied experience in business use cases.
• Experience in portfolio planning, budgeting, and program execution.

You will be part of the Digital Consulting team within the APB PESV organization, a global team focused on driving data and AI-powered transformation across Siemens Energy’s Service Business. Working closely with business units, IT, and external partners, the team acts as a bridge between strategic vision and execution—accelerating adoption of AI capabilities, promoting reuse of solutions, and supporting the company’s digital and service transformation journey.
