What You'll Do
As a Broadcast PCR Technician, you'll join our Technical PCR team, playing a key role in delivering high quality live sports productions.
Working from the Production Control Room (PCR), you'll be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and managing the technical resources required to ensure reliable live broadcasts. You'll work closely with production, engineering, technical operations, and live event teams to guarantee the highest standards of operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure PCR technical resources before live productions.
- Monitor video, audio, communication, and contribution signals throughout live broadcasts.
- Operate routing, monitoring, and signal distribution systems.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing feeds from stadiums, arenas, OB vans, and broadcast partners.
- Support production and technical teams during live sports events.
- Monitor signal quality and troubleshoot operational issues in real time.
- Collaborate with engineering, continuity, production, and technical operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service quality standards.
- Participate in technical rehearsals, testing activities, and special event operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of broadcast operations and technical workflows.
- Degree or technical qualification in Audiovisual, Telecommunications, Multimedia Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in television, broadcast, or audiovisual operations.
- Experience working in live production or broadcast environments.
- Experience in PCR, MCR, Continuity, Master Control, or similar operational roles.
- Knowledge of broadcast production workflows and television operations.
- Experience with video and audio routing and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with SDI and IP based broadcast infrastructures.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in high pressure live environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to the sports calendar.
- Experience in live sports broadcasting.
- Knowledge of REMI (Remote Production) workflows.
- Experience with ingest, replay, clipping, or highlight systems.
- Familiarity with IP video transport protocols such as SRT, NDI, or SMPTE ST 2110.
- Knowledge of multiview, intercom, and broadcast monitoring systems.
- Experience working with sports leagues, federations, or broadcast rights holders.
- Technical English proficiency.
