Siemens Energy

A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Commissioning Engineer for Generator and Controls, where you will take charge of the complete commissioning lifecycle of generator systems. Imagine being the primary technical expert on-site, ensuring that our power generation solutions are installed, tested, and handed over to clients with the utmost safety, quality, and performance. You will engage in hands-on technical work, conducting detailed signal checks, adjusting system parameters, and performing pre-commissioning safety verifications. Your role will also involve adapting and reprogramming control systems like Simatic S7 to meet specific site conditions, executing primary tests, and meticulously documenting results to ensure compliance and successful project completion. With approximately 70% travel, you will collaborate closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver exceptional training.

  • Adapt and reprogram control system software (e.g., Simatic S7) to meet on-site conditions and project requirements.
  • Lead safety briefings and conduct risk assessments for all planned on-site activities in line with safety standards.

What You Bring

  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Willingness for worldwide travelling (70% of working time).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and openness to collaborating effectively with colleagues, customers, and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
