We are looking for a Planning & Scheduling Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Project Execution Team!
Your key responsibilities
- Support the Project Management Office (PMO) of Siemens Mobility across multiple projects.
- Develop, maintain, and control detailed project schedules using MS Project and Project Online.
- Prepare and deliver monthly project reports for both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and present interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support project monitoring and decision-making.
- Work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure planning, reporting, and documentation activities are aligned with project objectives.
- Communication and coordination with customers, consortium partners, all internal (support) functions (e.g. Engineering, Project Procurement, claims Management, Supply Chain Management, QM&EHS, etc.), suppliers and subcontractors regarding schedule information including required document submissions, deliveries, installation and schedule changes
- Implement and support schedule management procedures and plans, ensuring consistent application of approved policies and procedures throughout the project.
- Prepare Microsoft project schedules, extracting progress information.
- Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
- Coordinate the time schedule with the project team, analyzing, optimizing, and reporting deviations and conflicts.
- Support controlling activities to meet target dates across various technical fields, in collaboration with consortium partners and on-site staff.
- Continuously gather feedback from different project managers and site staff, evaluating the impact on progress, deadlines, and contractual milestones.
- Conduct progress analysis by comparing actual progress with planned schedules and prepare earned value reports.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- MS-office, MS-Project, MS-Visio.
- Primavera P6.
- Two (2) years of experience working as a Project Scheduler (Planner) for several projects simultaneously.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MS Project, Project Online, and Power BI.
- Experience in project reporting, including customer-facing and internal reports.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured and organized manner.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
