Our Team

Uniek is founded by a team of experienced founders and operators who have worked together across multiple companies over many years. Bas Kohnke is a Y Combinator alumni (S14) who co-founded the HR-tech company Impraise. Kareem Zaher is an experienced CTO who previously led engineering teams at Booking.com and the unicorn scale-up BetterUp and Floor Püttner was the director of a healthcare innovation focused non-profit for 10+ years and brings deep expertise in designing and delivering guest experiences through her operation of Villa El Limon, a successful vacation property in the South of Spain. We are currently a team of 3 humans and several AI-agents.


Why this role exists

We are a high-volume, small-ticket business. We win by signing many individual properties, owners and service providers, not by closing a handful of enterprise contracts. That motion lives or dies on a strong brand, a self-serve product that converts, and a marketing and lead generation machine that runs every day.


As experienced founders we know the importance of focus, understand our Ideal Client Profile and have experienced pre-mature growth first-hand in previous businesses. Today we are in a good spot with a clear ICP, clear proposition and early traction. 


Therefore, we are looking for a Growth Lead to join our team, own the demand generation and growth and work directly with the founders. You have led growth before, so you know how to set strategy, build a cadence, and bring others along. You’ll be fully hands-on: you build the stack, write the sequences, ship the experiments, and read the numbers yourself. You are analytical and data-driven by instinct. You lead by building.


Beyond running the machine, you are the person who keeps Uniek on the frontier. You track what is shifting in marketing, growth tooling, and AI, and you translate that into concrete decisions for us. When there is a better way to do something, you find it first.


What you'll own

Day-to-day demand generation. You run the outbound and inbound engine hands-on, producing a steady flow of qualified meetings. This is a daily output, not a quarterly campaign. 


Value Proposition & messaging. You work closely with the founders on the positioning of our solutions, optimizing the value proposition, iterate on messaging to prospects and take the lead in product marketing.


The GTM stack and automation, including AI tooling. You design and build the go-to-market infrastructure from end to end. That means selecting the right tools, connecting them, and automating the flows between them so the machine scales without proportional headcount. Our current stack includes Clay, Amplemarket, Breakcold, and Claude Cowork. You evaluate what to keep, what to replace, and what to add — and you own the data quality and reporting that makes it trustworthy.


The daily growth operating cadence and KPIs. You define the metrics for growth that matter and run the rhythm that keeps growth moving. All founders are growth oriented, but you make sure the team always knows what the numbers say and what to do about them.


Best-practice ownership across the team. You are the person who keeps us sharp. You follow what is working in growth and marketing across the industry, bring new approaches back to the team, and translate frontier thinking into things we can actually implement. We expect you to have a strong point of view and to share it.


Contribute to product-led growth initiatives. You work closely together with the founders to drive how users discover, activate, and convert across our modules inside the product. Onboarding, activation, upgrade paths, and module adoption will eventually become yours. You should know how to make a self-serve product sell itself.


Who you are
  • You built and scaled demand generation before. Robust experience in building the demand generation machine. First-hand implementing the tooling, designing the campaigns, running the sequences, monitoring the performance. You can point to the numbers you drove, not just the ones you contributed to.


  • You have hands-on experience building a GTM stack and automation layer. You worked with tools like Clay, Amplemarket, CRM platforms, and AI orchestration tools at a practical level. You have connected these systems and built workflows that actually run in production.


  • You are a builder first. In an AI-native team you write the sequences, configure the tools, connect the APIs, and ship experiments yourself. You do not wait for someone else to wire things up.


  • You are hungry for a startup journey. In this phase of life you want to be part of a small high-class team with a goal to build something with a large impact, you prioritize work, you want to carry large responsibilities and directly influence the pace of the company.


  • You are analytical and data-driven. You instrument everything, read the data yourself, and make decisions from evidence. You are also the person who teaches the rest of the team to think this way.


  • You’ve a master's degree. You’ve always been among the top performers during your studies and in the companies you operated.


  • You want to work in-person. This role is in-person in the Lisbon area, working closely with the founding team. Proximity matters to how we work.


  • You genuinely connect with what Uniek is building. You understand the experience of renting a beautiful property in Southern Europe, you can see where the industry is stuck, and you have real ideas about how to do it differently. That creative conviction is part of what makes you right for this.

  • You can run marketing campaigns in Dutch and Spanish.
