About The Team And The Role

As a Performance Media Specialist, you will be the strategic owner of our Paid Media strategy, managing media spend and performance on our multi channels (Amazon PPC/DSP, Meta, Google, Walmart Connect, Target roundel and more). This role requires a unique blend of analytical rigor across search, social, and retail media, combined with a sharp eye for the fundamental performance drivers: marketing mix modelling, creative hooks and conversion-rate optimized landing pages. Crucially, you will elevate the function by moving away from tedious manual setups. You will integrate advanced AI workflows to scale operations efficiently and focus your energy on high-level strategy and ROI.

What You Will Do

  • Omnichannel Campaign Management: Strategy, setup, optimization, and scaling of paid media budgets across Meta, Google, Amazon (PPC, programmatic DSPs), and emerging Retail Media Networks (Walmart Connect, Target Roundel).
  • AI-Driven Scaling & Automation: Proactively leverage AI and automation tools to optimize paid performance (budget management, bids management, targeting, creative concepts and landing page conversion rate optimisation) as well as automate routine optimization tasks to maintain a lean, fast-moving operation.
  • Creative & Hook Strategy: You understand that "creative is the new targeting." You will bridge the gap between media buying and creative execution analyzing visual performance data (hook rates, hold rates), writing clear briefs for design teams, and managing a robust creative testing pipeline.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Funnel Ownership: Audit and optimize post-click experiences. Partner with web developers and CRO teams to build, test, and iterate on high-converting landing pages (via Shopify) ensuring ad traffic actually converts.
  • Data-Led Decision Making: Analyze full-funnel metrics (NTB, ROAS, CPA, LTV, and CAC) on a daily basis. Take rapid actions to hit performance goals.
  • A/B Testing & Playbook Codification: Run continuous testing across audiences, creative formats, and bidding strategies. Build out and update our internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to turn successful tests into scalable, company-wide frameworks.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience managing substantial budgets across paid social and search/shopping. Direct experience or strong exposure to DSPs or Retail Media (Walmart, Target) is a strong plus.
  • AI-Native Mindset: You don't just know what AI is, you actively integrate it into your daily workflow to work smarter and 10x your output.
  • Creative & UX Acumen: You possess a strong understanding of consumer psychology. You know what makes a thumb-stopping ad creative and what a high-converting landing page layout looks like.
  • Analytically Rigorous: You love data and spreadsheet modeling.
  • Execution with Autonomy: A positive, can-do attitude with the grit and resilience required to operate in a high-growth, fast-evolving startup environment.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Managers, Content Creators, and Data/Tech teams.
