About The Role
We are hiring on behalf of a stealth-mode startup operating in the accounting and financial services space. The company is building a cutting-edge SaaS product targeted specifically for accounting professionals in Portugal. As their first SDR on the ground, you will be responsible for exploring and developing the Portuguese market, connecting directly with accountants and accounting firms, and driving early-stage pipeline growth.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to be part of something being built from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, and outbound campaigns
- Conduct in-person and remote visits to potential clients (accounting firms and independent accountants)
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to proposal creation and closing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-up
- Log and manage all activity and pipeline data in the CRM
- Collaborate with the founding team to refine the go-to-market strategy based on market feedback
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales, specifically selling digital products or SaaS solutions
- Demonstrated experience with outbound prospecting, including LinkedIn outreach and cold calling
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable operating in an early-stage environment
- Based in Portugal or willing to travel .within Portugal regularly
- Portuguese fluency
- Experience selling to or within the accounting or financial services industry.
