Join our dynamic Digital Innovation & BIM team at Gas Services Solutions, where you will be a hands-on architect and senior engineer, transforming ambitious ideas into tangible digital products. You’ll break down requirements into solid solution architectures and actively build, ship, and scale them with a high-impact team. Your day will be filled with taking solutions from proof of concept to robust, production-grade reality, leveraging GenAI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery. Beyond delivery, you’ll contribute your architectural perspective to the strategic digital direction of Gas Services Solutions, prioritizing where AI and digital innovation create the most value.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Translate ideas into solution architectures and bring them to production, defining stack, components, and integration patterns.
• Drive hands-on full-stack development end to end, setting up components like ETL pipelines, APIs, or full applications.
• Leverage GenAI-assisted software engineering to scale development velocity and focus on architecture, solution quality, and business value.
• Build and integrate modern AI solutions, contributing to flagship lighthouse cases such as the AI Scheduler and AI Bid Manager.
• Establish and maintain DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and Infrastructure as Code on AWS and/or Azure.
• Co-shape the strategic digital direction of Gas Services Solutions, prioritizing high-value AI and digital initiatives.

What You Bring

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Senior solution/software architecture experience with a proven track record of taking applications from PoC into production.
• Strong full-stack development skills with modern frontend frameworks, backend languages, REST API design, and databases.
• Hands-on cloud and DevOps expertise across hyperscalers, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
• Practical knowledge of modern AI concepts and a strong drive to stay at the state of the art in GenAI-enabled code generation.
• Strategic mindset paired with operational drive; familiarity with Siemens Energy’s enterprise architecture is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
