As a Senior React Native Developer, you'll own the mobile experience of a content-rich subscription app, from Expo project setup to App Store and Play Store submissions. You'll be the mobile specialist on a small, focused team, building features that include video streaming, offline downloads, subscription management, and live event participation.

With us, you'll not be alone working in these cutting-edge technologies. You'll be among a cross-functional team of seasoned Altarions with expertise in a multitude of sectors, from fintech and marketplace to AI and IoT.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior React Native Developer, you'll be:

Owning the mobile app implementation end-to-end, building screens across a 5-tab app with deep navigation, rich content, and interactive features
Implementing HLS video streaming with offline download support and storage management
Integrating subscription flows via RevenueCat (Apple IAP, Google Play Billing)
Building offline-capable features with sync-on-reconnect patterns
Integrating a live video SDK (WebRTC-based) for in-app events
Collaborating on API contract design with the backend team
Handling push notifications, deep linking, and in-app notification management
Optimising performance on content-heavy screens (lists, images, video, animations)

The Hands-On Experience We Need You to Bring to the Table:

4+ years of dedicated React Native development
Production apps shipped to both App Store and Play Store, you've handled submissions, rejections, and updates
Expo ecosystem experience: EAS Build, EAS Submit, OTA updates
Video playback integration in a mobile app (HLS/DASH streaming)
Strong TypeScript skills and comfort with end-to-end type safety
Complex navigation architecture: multi-tab, nested stacks, deep linking
Performance profiling and optimisation experience in React Native
Fluency in both written and spoken English

The Extra Experience We'd Love to See:

Subscription/IAP experience (RevenueCat, StoreKit 2, or Google Play Billing)
Offline-first patterns: local storage, sync queues, background sync
Animation skills: Reanimated, Skia, gesture-driven animations, Lottie
Live video SDK integration (LiveKit, Agora, or similar)
Monorepo experience: consuming shared packages across apps
Fitness, wellness, or content-heavy app experience
Custom map or canvas rendering in React Native
