QA Service Manager
Responsibilities

Lead and manage Quality Assurance services across multiple projects and delivery streams

Define and implement QA governance models, testing strategies, methodologies and best practices

Coordinate and mentor QA teams of varying sizes, ensuring high performance and continuous development

Oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of all testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, performance and UAT testing
-
Establish quality metrics, KPIs and reporting mechanisms to ensure service excellence
-
Manage testing risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution
-
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, delivery teams and third-party vendors
-
Ensure alignment between testing activities and business objectives
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes, tools and service delivery
-
Support release management activities and ensure readiness from a quality perspective
-
Provide regular status updates, service reporting and quality insights to stakeholders and leadership teams
-
Promote quality culture and testing excellence across the organization
Skills
-
+8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
-
+5 years of experience leading QA teams, testing services or service management functions
-
ISTQB Certification (mandatory)

Strong experience defining and implementing QA strategies and governance frameworks

Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes and best practices
-
Experience managing multidisciplinary and distributed QA teams
-
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies

Experience with test management, defect management and quality reporting tools
-
Knowledge of test automation strategies and quality transformation initiatives
-
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
-
Ability to manage priorities, risks and multiple delivery streams simultaneously

Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
-
Experience in the Energy or Utilities sector (preferred)

Fluent in English – written and spoken (mandatory)
