Right now, we are looking for a Platform Engineer for a client on our Talent Team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain platform services and Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and automate deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions, improving cloud infrastructure and developer experience.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, incident response, and self-healing capabilities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices (e.g., FluxCD, Argo CD) to enable efficient and secure software delivery.
• Define and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability mechanisms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Develop and maintain playbooks and runbooks to streamline operational processes and incident management.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage the platform lifecycle (security, configuration, cost, backup, monitoring).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities and accelerate product delivery.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, automation, and iteration speed.

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong programming skills (Go, Java, or similar) with experience building scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and GitOps practices.
• Experience working with at least one cloud provider (AWS or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Crossplane).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a collaborative environment.

We Value:

• Experience designing and maintaining Kubernetes-based platforms at scale.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as FluxCD or Argo CD.
• Experience automating infrastructure, incident response, and reliability engineering processes.
• Knowledge of platform lifecycle management (security, cost optimization, configuration, backups).
• Experience improving developer experience and internal platform tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Kubernetes, cloud, or programming certifications.
• Continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for adopting new technologies.
